Online ACT Intensive in Los Gatos and across California

Give yourself the gift of a reset–A private ACT intensive designed just for you.

You’re overcommitted, overthinking, and over it.

You’ve been holding it together with sheer grit for longer than you care to admit. From the outside, everything looks fine-better than fine, even. You’re successful, responsible, capable. You hit deadlines, lead teams, support others, and manage the moving pieces of a life that’s supposed to feel fulfilling. But underneath the surface? There’s a quiet unraveling.

You’re exhausted–but not the kind of tired that sleep fixes. You’re mentally crowded, emotionally numb, or painfully self-aware of the disconnect between what you’re doing and how you feel. You’ve read the books, tried the mindfulness apps, maybe even done weekly therapy–but something isn’t shifting. It’s like you’re stuck in a loop: managing, coping, functioning–but not living.

And while you keep showing up and pushing though, there’s a part of you whispering, I can’t keep doing it like this.” Not because you’re weak, but because you’re ready. Ready for something deeper. Something that cuts through the noise and helps you make real sense of what’s driving the overwhelm, the perfectionism, the burnout, the stuckness.

You don’t need another year of weekly check-ins. You need a pause. A breakthrough. An intensive devoted entirely to you.

Therapy That Meets the Moment: Focused, Strategic, Transformational

What is an Intensive?

A therapy intensive is a focused, extended session or set of sessions designed to help you make meaningful progress in a short amount of time. Instead of working through things week by week, an intensive offers a dedicated space–often over the course of several hours or a full day–to go deeper, faster.

This isn’t just “more therapy,” It’s a reset.

In this immersive format, we have the time and space to really slow down, get under the surface, and work with the patterns, beliefs, and inner conflicts that keep showing up in your life–whether that’s burnout, perfectionism, over-functioning, or feeling stuck in cycles you can’t seem to break.

An intensive allows us to create real momentum. You walk away with more than insight–you leave with clarity, emotional relief, and practical tools you can actually use.

It’s especially helpful if you:

  • Don’t have time for weekly therapy

  • Have hit a wall in your personal growth

  • Are navigating a life transition or emotional turning point

  • Crave real change, not just more coping strategies

This is therapy for when life can’t wait.

This intensive is built on the foundation of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you stop fighting your thoughts and emotions, and start building a life that feels more like your own.

In high-achieving lives, it’s easy to get caught in perfectionism, overthinking, or emotional avoidance–all while looking like you’re doing great on the outside. ACT helps shift that. Instead of trying to “fix” or get rid of the hard stuff, we create space to work with it in a new way–so you can move forward with more clarity, purpose, and ease.

During the intensive, we’ll:

  • Clarify what actually matters to you–beyond roles, achievements, or external expectations

  • Identify the internal loops that keep you stuck (like self-doubt, people-pleasing, or imposter thoughts)

  • Make room for difficult emotions without letting them run the show

  • Learn how to unhook from unhelpful thought patterns so they no longer dictate your choices

  • Build flexible, values-driven action–so you can show up more fully in your life, relationships, and work

This isn’t about “feeling better” in a temporary way–it’s about getting better at feeling everything, without losing yourself in the process. You’ll walk away with insight, tools, and a new framework for navigating your life with more intention and self-trust.

This is deep , focused work–for the part of you that knows it’s time to stop just managing, and start meaningfully shifting.

How this can help you achieve your goals:

  • Because this intensive is different from traditional weekly therapy, I want to walk you through exactly what to expect so you feel confident and prepared every step of the way.

    Step 1: Initial Consultation

Before committing, we will have a 20-30 minute consultation call. This is your opportunity to ask questions, share what you’re facing, and see if the intensive feels like the right fit. It’s also a chance for me to understand your goals and explain how the process works.

    Step 2: Pre-Intensive Session

About a week before the intensive begins, we’ll meet for a 50 minute session. This helps us start to get clear on your current challenges, values, and goals. We’ll also talk about what to expect during the intensive and prepare you for the focused work ahead.

    Step 3: Intensive Preparation

In the days leading up to the intensive, you’ll receive personalized prep materials to reflect on. This includes journaling prompts and questions designed to help you begin noticing patterns and priorities so we can dive deeper during our time together.

Step 4: The Intensive (duration dependent on which option you choose: one day 4  hours, one day 6 hours, 2 day 6 hours each).

This is the heart of the process–dedicated private session(s) where we do deep, focused work using ACT and related tools. We’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, clarify your values, and start creating new, actionable ways to move forward. It’s immersive and intentional–designed to bring real momentum in a short amount of time.

    Step 5: Post-Intensive Integration Session

About 1-2 weeks after the intensive, we’ll have a 50-minute follow-up session to check in on your progress, address any challenges, and help you integrate what you learned into your daily life. This session helps ensure the changes you’ve started continue to grow and stick.

  • In weekly therapy, just as you’re beginning to access something meaningful… the session ends. Then life happens, and it’s hard to pick up where you left off.

In an intensive, you have uninterrupted space to go deep–without rushing, surface-level check-ins, or splitting your focus across weeks. This creates the emotional momentum necessary for breakthroughs that stick.

  • The longer format allows your nervous system to settle and your mind to slow down. You’re not squeezing this in between meetings. You have permission to pause. As a result, the deeper layers of thought, emotion, and body memory become more accessible–and that’s where real healing lives.

  • Because we’re devoting several hours at a time to your internal world, we can trace patterns and connections you may have struggled to see in traditional therapy. You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of what’s really going on, why, and what to do next.

  • Intensives are structured with prep and follow-up so you’re not just uncovering things–you’re turning those insights into meaningful change. You’ll leave not only with a sense of relief, but with tools and direction you can carry into your day-to-day life.

  • Let’s be real: carving out an hour every week for months doesn’t work for everyone. Intensives give you a way to engage in powerful therapy without the long timeline. You get high-quality, concentrated support–on a schedule that respects your time and your energy.

  • The intensive format allows us to slow down, build trust quickly, and get to the root–not just the symptoms. You’ll be met with curiosity, skill, and care as we work through what’s really keeping you stuck–so you can finally shift into something new.

What We Will Do:

  • We’ll begin by anchoring into what’s been bringing you here–what’s working, what’s not, and what you want to be different. Together, we’ll identify the inner patterns (thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, emotional avoidances) that are keeping you stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

This is not just about talking–it’s about noticing. You’ll begin to develop awareness and clarity around the “loops” you’ve been caught in and how they’re showing up across your life.

  • Once we’ve mapped what’s happening, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface. Using tools from ACT (and, as needed, IFS or somatic work), we’ll create space for the emotions, fears, and stories you’ve been carrying–without judgment, urgency, or needing to fix them.

This is where we begin to shift your relationship with your inner experience–so you’re no longer fighting with your thoughts or avoiding your emotions, but learning how to be with them in a way that feels grounded and freeing.

  • We’ll spend time connecting to your values–the deeper “why” that fuels meaningful change. In high-performing lives, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters to you versus what’s expected. Together, we’ll rediscover what feels true, aligned, and alive for you–so you can start making decisions from that place.

  • With clarity and emotional space restored, we’ll shift toward committed action–how to move forward in ways that reflect your values and support your well-being. This may include setting gentle boundaries, rewriting internal rules, or stepping into change with more self-trust.

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what needs to shift–and practical tools to support that change in your real life.

  • Throughout the process, we’ll pause, reflect, and make space for what’s unfolding. This isn’t just about insight–it’s helping your system absorb and integrate what you’re learning so the changes last.

  • Relief from emotional overwhelm without having to suppress or avoid your feelings

  • Clarity about what really matters to you, not just what’s expected of you

  • A deep understanding of your patterns–why you keep ending up in burnout, perfectionism, or over-functioning, and how to change it

  • More self-compassion and less self-criticism, especially around “not doing enough”

  • The ability to unhook from unhelpful thoughts so they no longer control your behavior or identity

  • Reconnection to your intuition and internal wisdom, after years of high-functioning disconnection

  • Practical tools you can use in real life to manage stress, make decisions, and care for yourself in sustainable ways

  • A felt sense of internal space–room to breathe, reflect, and make choices from a place of groundedness

  • A new way of relating to yourself–not as a project to fix, but as someone already worthy of care, respect, and rest

The Method Behind the Intensive

This intensive is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps you stop avoiding or fighting your inner experience and start building a life that actually feels like yours.

Rather than trying to “fix” your thoughts or emotions, ACT helps you develop a new relationship with them so you’re no longer constantly caught in loops of overthinking, emotional suppression, or perfectionism. You’ll learn to get clear on what matters to you, and how to take meaningful steps forward, even when things feel messy inside.

It’s not about getting rid of discomfort. It’s about increasing your capacity to hold it, move through it, and keep showing up for the life you want with honesty, intention, and compassion.
