Online EMDR Intensive in Los Gatos and across California
Deep healing for the parts of you that talk therapy couldn’t reach.
You Survived by Shutting It Down. This Is How You Finally Move It Through.
You’ve been the one everyone counts on–the fixer, the overachiever, the steady presence. On paper, your life looks like a success story. But inside, it’s a different world. Your mind won’t quiet, cycling through worries, regrets, and the relentless “what ifs.” You’ve become an expert at pushing down the heaviness, the shame, the old wounds, the parts of you that still feel raw and unseen.
You’ve sat in therapy sessions, nodded along, and learned tools to manage stress, but the core ache hasn’t budged. The fragmented memories, the knots in your gut, the nervous system that won’t settle–those aren’t things you can talk away in 50-minute increments over weeks or months.
You’re exhausted from spinning your wheels, from performing at high capacity while your inner world feels fractured and worn thin. You don’t just want to manage symptoms. You want to untangle years of buried pain and reclaim your sense of self.
You know this can’t wait. The pressure has been building for too long, and you can feel it now, like a low hum of tension ready to snap.
You need something deeper, faster, and more immersive. An experience that meets you where you really are-not where you wish you were-and helps you move through what’s stuck at a cellular level.
That’s why an intensive isn’t just an option. It’s the next step you’ve been waiting for.
A Space to Finish What Your Brain Had to Pause
You’ve learned how to compartmentalize, how to push through, how to keep moving. That’s helped you succeed—but it hasn’t helped you heal.
An EMDR intensive is a focused, accelerated therapy experience designed for people like you: high-functioning, highly self-aware, and tired of circling the same issues in therapy without lasting change.
Instead of 50-minute sessions spread out over months, we work together in a structured, immersive format. You’ll get the time, space, and therapeutic intensity to go deeper—so your brain can finally process what it never had the chance to finish.
We start with preparation: safety, stability, and nervous system support. Then, using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we target the memories, beliefs, and emotional patterns that are still running in the background—often driving anxiety, shutdown, perfectionism, or chronic tension.
You won’t just talk about what happened. You’ll reprocess it—using your brain’s natural capacity to heal once it has the right conditions.
It’s efficient, but not rushed. Intensive, but not overwhelming. And most importantly, it’s tailored: built to meet you where you are, with real tools for where you want to go.
If you’re ready to stop managing and start moving forward—this is how we begin.
You don’t just want to “feel better.” You want your life to work—from the inside out.
You want to stop second-guessing yourself in every relationship. To stop shutting down in conversations that matter. To stop feeling like your emotions are too big to handle or too buried to even reach.
You want to stop overfunctioning at work just to prove you're okay.
To stop the burnout cycle that keeps draining you.
To actually rest without guilt.
To feel present in your own life instead of just managing it.
You want:
Your body to stop bracing.
Your mind to stop spiraling.
Your sleep to come easily.
Your stress to stop running the show.
You want to stop avoiding what hurt you—and finally process it so it doesn’t keep shaping how you show up now.
That’s what this EMDR intensive helps you do.
Through a carefully structured, neuroscience-backed approach, we help your brain complete the stress responses it had to shut down. We target the exact memories and emotional patterns keeping you stuck in perfectionism, emotional reactivity, detachment, or overwhelm.
We move beyond coping to resolution.
Beyond surviving to clarity.
Beyond pushing through to genuine peace.
Whether your goal is to build healthier relationships, stop living in overdrive, reconnect with your emotions, finally process trauma, or simply feel like yourself again—this is the work that makes that possible.
And it doesn’t take years. It takes depth, intention, and space to actually heal.
How This Work Helps You Get Where You Want to Go
-
This isn’t a one-off appointment—it’s a carefully structured experience designed to support deep, meaningful change from start to finish.
Here’s how the process works:
Step 1: Initial Consultation (30 minutes – virtual)
We’ll start with a free consultation to make sure an EMDR intensive is the right fit for you. You can ask questions, share your goals, and get a feel for how I work. If we both agree to move forward, we’ll get your intensive scheduled and begin the preparation process.
Step 2: Pre-Intensive Session (50 minutes)
Once you're booked, we’ll meet for a full-length session to gather your history, clarify your goals, and begin identifying the specific memory targets or emotional patterns you want to work on. We’ll also begin some gentle resourcing so you feel grounded, supported, and prepared for the deeper work ahead.
Step 3: Personalized Prep & Planning (Behind-the-Scenes)
Between sessions, I take time to review your history and goals, select EMDR targets, map out your treatment plan, and prepare the tools and techniques we may use—whether that includes parts work, somatic grounding, or specialized EMDR protocols tailored to your needs.
Step 4: EMDR Intensive (4-hour, 6-hour, or 2 days of 6 hours)
This is where the deep work happens. Depending on the format you choose (4-hour, 6-hour, or 2-day), we’ll have uninterrupted time to move through reprocessing with enough space for pacing, breaks, regulation, and integration. You’ll never be rushed. You’ll be supported the entire way.
Step 5: Post-Intensive Session (50 minutes)
Roughly one week after your intensive, we’ll meet to reflect, assess how things have landed, and talk about next steps. Whether that’s continued integration, additional support, or closure, this session helps you make meaning of the changes and stay grounded as you move forward.
This structured process is designed to support not just insight—but transformation.
You don’t have to piece it all together on your own. I’ll be with you every step of the way.
-
You already know a lot. You’ve read the books, done the journaling, been in therapy before. The problem isn’t awareness—it’s that your brain hasn’t had the space to complete the work.
In an intensive, we slow down enough to actually move through what’s unfinished, instead of analyzing it from a distance. This isn’t about talking more—it’s about finally shifting what’s been stuck underneath all your coping. -
You don’t have the patience (or schedule) for 8 months of rehashing the same themes in 50-minute chunks. You want to feel change in your body, not just talk about it.
Intensives let us stay with the work long enough for your system to respond. You’re not starting over every week—you’re building on what we’ve opened, layer by layer, until something real gives. -
You’ve trained yourself to override: emotions, exhaustion, intuition. And it’s helped you achieve… but it’s left you feeling numb, tense, or overwhelmed underneath.
This model is designed to meet that. It creates a supported container where your nervous system can finally settle, let go, and integrate. It’s not rushed, it’s not fluffy—it’s intentional space to reconnect with you.
What We Will Do:
-
Before anything else, we’ll slow down and listen to the things you’ve been pushing past—on autopilot, in overdrive, or out of survival.
We'll pinpoint the old experiences your brain never got to finish—the ones still feeding the pressure to overachieve, shut down in relationships, or stay emotionally detached even when you don’t want to be.
This isn’t about rehashing your whole story. It’s about targeting the exact patterns that are still running the show.
-
High-performing people are great at holding it together. You’ve trained yourself to “stay composed” even when you’re falling apart inside.
So before we go into anything deep, we help your nervous system feel safe enough to not perform.
We’ll work with tools that help you track your own signs of overwhelm, connect with your body, and create internal safety—so you can do the deeper work without shutting down or spinning out.
-
In the intensive itself, we’ll go straight to the core of what’s stuck—not just talk about it, but reprocess it through your nervous system.
That moment when you started hiding how anxious you were. That relationship where you stopped trusting yourself. That memory that still tightens your chest even if you can’t name why.
You’ll finally get to move through it—instead of staying stuck around it.
We go slow, steady, and deep—not in circles, but forward.
-
You’re not a checklist or a protocol. If your system freezes, goes blank, gets flooded, or a critical voice shows up mid-process—we’ll meet that.
Whether it’s with parts work, somatic grounding, or gentle EMDR adjustments, we follow what your system needs in the moment—not what a worksheet says should happen next.
This is trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent therapy designed for people who’ve always had to hold it together.
-
You’ve probably had moments of clarity or healing before—only to feel like they slipped away.
That’s not happening here.
After the intensive, we’ll meet again to make sense of what shifted, what still lingers, and how to carry it forward. You’ll leave with emotional language for what changed, tools to keep integrating, and a plan for what’s next.
This isn’t “one and done.” It’s the first time you’ll stop pushing through—and actually start moving forward.
Unload the emotional weight you’ve been carrying silently for years—without needing to explain or justify why it’s heavy.
Break lifelong patterns of shutting down, performing, or pretending everything’s fine—even when you’re unraveling inside.
Uncover the root experiences that shaped how you relate to pressure, intimacy, failure, or control.
Feel your feelings in real time—not just talk about them weeks later, with distance.
Reclaim access to parts of yourself you’ve had to exile to survive—vulnerability, softness, self-trust.
Interrupt the loop of overthinking, emotional numbness, or chronic self-criticism that’s kept you stuck.
Regulate your nervous system so you can finally exhale—not because you earned it, but because you’re safe.
Restore a sense of internal safety, so your body stops bracing for the next threat, failure, or disappointment.
Rewrite the internal narratives that tell you you’re too much, too messy, or not enough to be fully seen.
Experience therapy that meets your depth and complexity—not something that oversimplifies or pathologizes it.
Receive support that’s structured, strategic, and emotionally attuned—not surface-level or drawn out over months.
Leave with clarity about what shifted, what it means for you going forward, and what needs tending next.

What your brain couldn’t finish then, we’ll work towards completing now.
FAQs
-
No. EMDR doesn’t require you to retell every detail of what you’ve lived through. We’ll target what your system is ready to process—without forcing anything. You’ll never be pushed past your capacity, and you’ll have support the entire way.
-
Yes. Intensives can be a great supplement to ongoing therapy, especially if you want to work on a specific issue that feels stuck. I am happy to collaborate with your current therapist if helpful, and we’ll define clear goals for your time here.

The Method Behind the Intensive
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed, body-aware therapy that helps your brain fully process experiences it couldn’t resolve at the time they happened.
Instead of only talking through what hurt, EMDR works with your brain’s natural healing process—using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to reduce the emotional charge of painful memories and rewire how they live in your body and mind.
In intensives, this process is deeply supported and strategically paced, giving us time to follow the thread of what comes up—so your system can finally finish what it started.
